Attendance and automated payroll for coal-mining operations in Indonesia — one app for field workers and a web panel for HR, with tamper-resistant attendance and payslips computed from the hours actually worked.
What it does.
Mining operations lose money to the same gaps, month after month: attendance handed to a friend, phone clocks turned back, spoofed locations, and manual recaps that eat days at every period close. CoalTrack closes those gaps, then connects attendance directly to payroll.
Workers check in with a single tap — on Android or iOS, in seven languages, even with no signal, and with no camera or photo. HR works in a browser: who’s on site now, present and late today, the attendance trend, monthly recaps per division with Excel export, device approvals, and a payroll run that computes, reviews, finalizes and emails letterheaded PDF payslips.
CoalTrack calculates and documents; it never holds or moves money — wages are paid through your bank as usual. It is live and running in production.

What it handles, in detail.
Server time, not phone time
Present or late is decided by the server clock, which workers can’t change, inside a working-hours window your company sets. Offline check-ins keep honest time with GPS satellite time and a monotonic counter.
Real GPS, inside a work-site radius
Genuine GPS is required and fake-location tools are detected. Each site has a radius; HR sees the distance to the nearest site and can reject check-ins taken outside it.
One device, append-only record
One approved device per employee, revocable by HR — a replacement waits for approval. Every check-in is a permanent, append-only entry the database itself enforces: corrections are new records, never quiet edits.
Built for thin signal at the pit
Attendance taken with no signal is held on the phone and sends itself the moment the network returns. The app shows exactly how many entries are still waiting.
Leave, with official letters
Annual leave, permits, sick leave, business trips and work-from-home requests from the app, with attachments. Approvals generate a numbered, letterheaded PDF — and approved trips and WFH count as present.
Payroll to Indonesian rules
Monthly, daily and hourly schemes; overtime per Kepmenaker 102/2004; night-shift and production incentives; BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and Kesehatan; PPh 21 on the TER scheme with a Coretax export — and a password-locked PDF payslip emailed to each worker.
