Clarity over cleverness
It’s tempting to build software that impresses other engineers. We would rather build software a normal person can understand. If you can’t explain what a feature does in a sentence, it probably does too much.
That principle shapes our interfaces, our dashboards and even our pricing. No hidden behaviour, no surprising bills.
Honest scope
When we take on client work, the first thing we do is agree on what is in and what is out. Vague scope is how projects quietly balloon and trust quietly erodes.
We would rather say “that’s out of scope — here’s what it would take” than pretend everything is easy. It makes for calmer projects and better relationships.
